Flame
from a spark
a glowing presence
crackling
eating wood
dancing light on the walls
warming the cold
hungry for more
penetrating all darkness
fading the shadows
behold-the fire
Wind
Soaring
swirling
blowing away
lifting the birds
swaying the trees
howling
moaning
storm
Water
flowing over earth
carving stone
ripples in a lake
falling over cliffs
summoning the rainbow
spraying, glittering, sparkling
churning, frothing
still
Earth
damp soil
grows the plants
hiding its secrets
deep deep down
under the roots
of trees and plants
farther than knowing
deeper
ever deeper
