Books about romance, horror, comedy and adventure are amongst her favourites. Writing is her constant companion.

Selected Poems:

Carved in Orange

As the sun sets, outlining the clouds

in its orange fluorescent light,
the trees whisper amongst themselves.

The silence is deafening,

except for the murmur of the trees.

The fiery orange light paints its reflection

in the calm peaceful waters.

The glass water reflects all things towering above it,

the occasional breeze making the reflection

dance and sway as ripples.
And when the sun sinks beneath the mountains,

the sky glows and dies out

like a candle, only to reveal the night.

Nature Night

Birds sing their nighttimes lullaby.
A lone wolf howls, piercing the silence.
The moon hovers over the water, its reflection
like a shattered bowl as the water ripples.
Leaves fan the warm night air.
An owl soars above as silent as night itself.
It is a quiet and delicate night in the forest.

The Time Flower

Deep blue skies.
Clouds blooming into shapes, blooming into flowers.
As time goes by the cloud stays the same.
Rays of light penetrate the cloud, creating the centre of the Time Flower.
Almost see-through, the sky seeps through it, giving it a blue glow.
Shining and beaming.
It is said that the Time Flower creates the gentle warm scents of the earth.
When it rains the Flower soaks up the water, making it grow.
The Time Flower was here when I rose and it will be here when I fall.
Beauty can grow almost anywhere, but if you look carefully, you'll find

a bit of beauty in everything.
