Disaster

A drop of ecstasy found in a drop of water
shakes the foundation of my soul
dissolution emanate
a crack expanding
like an earthquake splitting at the seams
frozen mystical revelation
terrifies the strands of my being
a creative impulse sparking in vacuum
my mind expands like a butterfly
spreading its wings
temporal soup
dished out by the ladle
the big dipper put to use
scooping up ancient dreams
awakening in them a world alien
to all prior knowledge.
Awareness of the present out of place
still the power grows
threatening a Grenoble of my consciousness
Like a flower blooming
only to be swarmed by bees
Not enough nectar to sustain myself
yet still I give it away
madness creeps like a stream of water passing
through the cracked dam
holding back unconsciousness.
