Ignorant Impact

Worlds Collide at Main and Hastings
suit and tie guy, Bmw, drive home
wife and kids waiting in suburban palace
2.5 kids, 3car garage, picket fence, church on Sundays
capitalist wet dream,
mass transit colony, Mass Corporation, corruption, poverty,
while a broken man sits on the corner alone.
Peers out the window in disgust
alleyways reek like urine and death,
the living dead pour out into the streets
impact the living
dusted and disgusted, very unforgiving.
‘Begging,begging I am very hungry!’
‘Get a job you slob!’
Dirty water on $100,000 windshield.

~ Composed by Allan Drabble, Del and Tim Page.
