Third Place Winner: Marika Constant

My Mother is a Naughty Girl

My mother is naughty girl
She was running in the school
And according to the principal
That's against the rule
She came to class to listen
But didn't pay attention
And the only one there after school
Was me, who got detention
She always takes long showers
And uses the hot water
And one day at the zoo
She acted like an otter
She drives wobbly and crooked
Always drives in the wrong lane
And speeds up quite a bit
When the cars start to complain
She goes out when it's rainy
And stays in when it's sunny
And whenever I fail a test
She just thinks it's funny
She is never growing older
She gets younger everyday
And one day at the park
She laughed her head away
She runs away from spiders
And screams at the sight of a rat
But I'm guessing she's not sick, ,just,
All mothers act like that!
