My Pet Mountain
My pet mountain
Is one you can count on
Always there when you want to play,
A mountain never goes away
It has hemlocks, willows, birches,
And all the trees birds use as perches
Play hide and seek in little valleys,
’cause mountains aren't good at tennis rallies
Tag’s a game you’ll have to miss,
Because mountains are not all that swift
You can call it Snowy,
Even without any snow,
Because that’s what I named my mountain,
And that’s all you need to know.
