Stirring the Sky

Living on raspberry clouds
sky scrappers of marble ice cream
stirring the sky
with nebula, spatulas
shimmering gently
God's got really big spoons
licking the brown sugar lips
unlatching the barricades
empty
sweet and low fat milky way
and drumming in the glass eye
of the tornado
walking on stilts
ten thousand stories high
to kiss your skies
we sleep upon the lake
of oblivion
lactose intolerant.
