Our World
Our world is full of different things.
Butterflies are drifting leaves,
dew drops are crystals on flowers,
animals are the hunters and the hunted,
grass is a carpet of green.
The trees are big parasols
the plants are living beings
and sunsets are made of watercolors
painted across the horizon.
The sunrise is the sun being born
a fence is a wall between one life
and another
nothing is as it seems.
Metaphors:
A picnic is an ant’s family gathering.
The ocean is a huge bathtub.
The waterfall is a huge sheet of moving glass.

Nature
The forest canopy
is a blanket covering the living creatures beneath.
The sun smears orange candle wax over the sky,
the Safire stars twinkle under the moon,
clouds mourn their tears.
The clouds are pillows for giants.
The sunset is an explosion of colors,
the moon is the largest pearl,
the forest carpet is thick under my feet,
the animals scamper underneath the bushes.
Butterflies flutter over the trees
the chalk grey clouds spill their tears over the forest
and the trees catch the tears
and gently sprinkle them over the earth
and the sun sighs.
The clouds are softer than pillows
the night is silent.
The clouds part
and the moon baths the forest
in its luminous light.

Nature
It is extraordinary, it’s powerful,
the wind is earth’s breath,
the volcano eruptions are the earths sneezes,
thunder is the earth’s ideas,
rivers are the earth’s dreams.
The more they flow the deeper they sleep.
Storms are the earth’s anger
the rains is the sky’s tears.
Nature is simply wonderful.
Metaphors:
Clouds are the skies pillows.
Rain is the skies tears.
The forest is the trees home.
Wind is the earth’s breath.
The seasons are the earth’s music.
Green is the world’s color of life.
Rivers are the earth’s dreams.
The sea is the water’s mother.
The lightening was the earth’s ideas.
The ocean is the castle of the marine life.
Air is the world’s air conditioning.
The grasslands are the earth’s blankets..

Picnic
We are going on a picnic,
we’re very excited
with apple, bread and cheese,
with lady bugs and bees
and ham,
Oh geez!
Roses, tulips and butterflies,
feel the sunshine don’t be burned,
watch out for the ants and worms.
Family friends and sun
running on the grass
lemonade in a glass,
all of us happy and relaxed and full.

Nature
Rain is God’s tears.
Rainbow's are god’s way of being happy.
The clouds are angel wings.
Aurora Borealis is nature’s fireworks.
The stars are jewels in the sky.
The birds can fly among them.
Metaphors:
The Aurora Borealis is nurture’s fireworks.
The stars are jewels in the sky.
Rivers are the oceans playground.
Rivers are the ocean’s blanket.
