Selected Poem:
Butterfly Kiss
She gently took my hand
in the dark hallway.
Her hand was warm and soft.
My heart quickened as she
lead me surefooted to
her room.
I was thirteen.
In the dark, her lips pressed
mine awkwardly.
Our fingers locked together.
Her eyelashes brushed against
my cheek.
