Pandora's Collective & The JCC Present ART & POETRY IN THE GALLERY Free admission Poets will respond with original work inspired by the art exhibit. Bring paper and pen. There will be an open mic time when the audience will have an opportunity to write and read poems relating to the exhibit. Time: 6:30 - 8:00 pm Featured Poets:
Art Exhibit: “DEAR ARLO – Letters to My Grandson.” A Memoir by Olga Campbell Through visual art, poetry, prose, family recipe, and letters to her grandson Campbell responds to second generation Holocaust trauma and to the grief resulting from the premature death of her husband. The book however is not only about the exploration of the legacy of trauma, it also celebrates the power of art as a healing and transformational tool and looks at the awe and wonder and ebb and flow of life. Exhibit dates: January 8 – 27.
