She sometimes leads workshops and also works as an editor. Her poems, fiction, reviews and essays have been published in books, magazines, newspapers and in a range of online publications. Her most recent book isFlightpaths: The Lost Journals of Amelia Earhart (Caitlin Press, 2017). Another collection of poems, Practical Anxiety, is forthcoming from Inanna Publications in 2018.
![]() Zuzana Vasko teaches Arts Education and Academic Writing with the Faculty of Education at SFU, and also teaches with Dept. of Interdisciplinary Expressive Arts at Kwantlen University.. She frequently incorporates poetry and poetic narrative into her teaching as well into her own writing and research. Zuzana has been quietly writing poetry through many periods of her life and was the winner of last year's contest.
